Integrated fire, rescue and emergency support

Emergency Service Officer and specialist emergency-response capability for organisations operating where additional on-site preparedness and immediate response capability are required.

Traccorp provides Emergency Service Officer and specialist emergency-response capability for organisations operating in environments where additional on-site preparedness and immediate response capability are required.

Personnel, vehicles and equipment can be configured around the site risk profile, operating environment, workforce, emergency-service access and expected external response times.

What ESO capability can support

Depending upon project scope, Traccorp capability can support:

  • Fire and initial emergency response
  • Incident management support
  • Emergency communications
  • Fire protection and fire watch
  • Remote-area operations
  • Emergency exercises and drills
  • Emergency Response Team development
  • Vehicle and equipment deployment
  • Site-specific emergency preparedness

Responsive services

Traccorp provides for the reality of emergency fire and rescue response, incident management and the reduction of fire and rescue risk at remote mining and resources sites. Deployments bring Emergency Service Officers whose training and certification is matched to the scope of the contract, purpose-built fire fighting appliances equipped for the role, and site-specific rescue equipment.

Integrated services

Traccorp ESO staff are equipped to meet the challenges of remote area fire and rescue work. Where other services are integrated into site operations, such as Security Protection Officers or Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Traccorp cross-trains these staff to assist in incident support and management.

Personnel and equipment presentation

Traccorp ESO staff wear uniform that is practical for the role and presents its professionalism to site staff and visitors. Equipment is provided for efficiency in remote fire and rescue response, and a quality control process covers the administration of ESO-related materials. Vehicles, plant and equipment are provided to specification and are fully marked and equipped.

Drills and exercises

Traccorp implements and manages training and education programs for site Emergency Response Team (ERT) staff, increasing response capacity and reducing the significance of any incident or emergency. Drills and training programs cover a range of incident themes, including first response fire fighting, vehicular rescue, high-angle rescue and spill response.
